Southern Steel is based out of Knoxville, TN.  Founded in September 2013 by brothers Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist Mike Ruble and Vocalist/Bassist Bill Ruble. The band has garnered a loyal following in East Tennessee and beyond. In 2019 they were voted Best Band in Knoxville by the Knoxville News Sentinel "Best of the Best" poll. Southern Steel plays a wide variety of music form Classic rock to Country to Hard Rock. Southern Steel plays 150 - 200 shows a year.
